Although the process of turning animal hide into Leather dates back to 1300 BC. It was for many years deemed very expensive for use on suites of Furniture so therefore you would not see it too often in homes. However more sophisticated processes coupled with more competition from freed up world trade means that it is now more affordable and fashionable. For many people it is seen as more luxurious, durable and much easier to maintain then fabric.

Nevertheless accidents happen – leather can be torn or scratched finish can come off if some solvent comes into contact with it, accidental ink stains etc. and this is where we can help to remedy it at a fraction of the cost of replacement.
